“it costs too much to be a criminal”

In the 1990s, a 17-year-old named Wallace Peeples found himself sentenced to 20 years in prison for armed robbery.

During the 20 years he spent in prison, Wallace found himself sharing a cell with his own father and brother. Wallace was determined not to let the tough times get to him, so he discovered comfort in books and developed a strong interest in learning.

Released from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections in 2017, he discovered social media and the art of brand building. In 150 days after his release, he had over 60,000 followers on Instagram.

Post-incarceration, Wallace shifted his focus towards entrepreneurship and marketing. While watching advertisements on television, he immersed himself in the thought process of advertising agencies. Returning to the streets of North Philadelphia with a different mission, he began selling t-shirts and sharing stories of hardships and triumphs. His goal was clear—to inspire and motivate others facing difficulties around him.

Seven years later, Wallace Peeples, known as Wallo, has the game in a chokehold. He has evolved into a Culture Advisor, Keynote Speaker, Social Influencer, Entrepreneur, Marketing Disruptor, Author, and the Co-Host of the popular “Million Dollars Worth of Game” podcast, which has over 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube.

Wallo’s journey is a testament to the power of determination and resilience. From reading books in a prison cell to becoming a key figure in entrepreneurship and marketing.

In the face of challenges, Wallace Peeples transformed his life and is now dedicated to uplifting others through his experiences. His story encourages us all to recognize the potential for positive change, even in the most difficult circumstances.

HELLA INSPIRED.
