He is the longest tenured African American executive in Nike's history. He is currently the Senior Vice President for Jordan Brand.
Born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, Howard's upbringing influenced his approach to life. He became Jordan’s daily manager and mentor.
19 years later, Howard was instrumental in securing LeBron James for Nike, resulting in the signing of the largest shoe deal ever inked by a rookie. He also played a crucial role in bringing other basketball stars, such as Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul to the Jordan Brand.
The Jordan brand is now worth over 5.2 Billion.
