“Bridging the Gap”

Iddris Sandu started his life in Accra, Ghana, before moving to Los Angeles at the young age of 3.

At an early age, Iddris was drawn to the world of technology and coding. Before he even reached his teenage years, he taught himself how to code.

MIT offered Iddris a scholarship and he made the decision to decline the offer, choosing instead to chart his own course in the tech industry.

Iddris embarked on a journey that saw him interning and consulting for some of the biggest names in the tech world, including Snapchat, Twitter, Uber, Instagram, Google, and even Yeezy, Kanye West’s famous brand.

In 2017, he collaborated with the late and great Nipsey Hussle to create the world’s first smart store. This groundbreaking project showcased the potential of technology to revolutionize traditional retail experiences, offering a glimpse into the future of shopping.

Building on his successes, Iddris founded Spatial Labs in 2021. This company’s mission is to harness the power of augmented reality (AR) and web3 infrastructure to create innovative products and redefine the shopping experience. With Spatial Labs, he seeks to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds, bringing new dimensions to how people interact with technology.

Spatial Labs has raised over $10 million in funding, with Jay-Z’s Marcy Ventures participating in the investment.
